This week at Kids Church…
We see Elfie’s prayers are being answered. God is doing something in the hearts of his parents in answer to his prayers. Today for the first time in Elfie’s life his parents are attending his parent-teacher interview at school! Elfie is 10 years old, and this is the first time they have ever bothered to come.
Elfie is waiting outside the teacher’s office with his parents when a girl comes out of a parent-teacher interview with her father screaming at her ‘You’re hopeless Missy!
‘Oh no’ he thinks to himself nervously chewing his trunk.
Soon Elfie is sitting in his teacher’s office when the unthinkable happens. The teacher starts praising Elfie to his parents. His mum and step-dad sit there shocked, as Mr Digby Dog commends Elfie’s change of attitude and performance in school
God is changing Elfie from the inside out.
