World Peace | Reframing Peace, Power, and War Through King Jesus.

What if everything we’ve been told about peace… isn’t quite true?

We live in a world that promises peace—but rarely delivers it. Nations rise and fall, conflicts come and go, and even in our personal lives, peace can feel fragile and fleeting. We are told that peace will come through progress, power, better systems, or stronger leadership. Yet history—and our own experience—tells a different story.

So what if the problem isn’t “out there”… but something deeper?

We as Christ Followers dare to ask the bigger question: What if Jesus is not just part of the story—but the King of it?

World Peace is not about politics. It’s not about taking sides. It’s about seeing the world—and your life—through the lens of King Jesus.

Isn’t Jesus The Prince of Peace? Doesn’t He bring peace the world expects? Well, His peace is different! He doesn’t dominate—He transforms. He doesn’t crush His enemies—He lays down His life for them. This is not weakness. This is a completely different kind of power.

Where’s the impact of human progress? We’ve advanced in technology, politics, and knowledge—but why does the human condition remain unchanged? Why does progress so often amplify both our brilliance and our brokenness?

Why do wars never end? Not just global wars—but the conflicts in our relationships, our communities, and even within ourselves. What if the real battle isn’t between nations… but within the human heart?

Will humans eventually obliterate creation? This is where everything shifts. Jesus brings about a new creation!

This is where hope explodes because the Christian story is not about escaping the world—it’s about God restoring it. It’s not about God abandoning creation—but renewing it; not the end of the world—but the beginning of a new one.

This challenges how we see:

  • Power
  • Politics
  • Conflict
  • And ultimately… your place in the story of the Kingdom coming to earth will anchor you in something unshakable

But more than that—it will anchor you in something unshakable.

The future of the world does not belong to chaos, governments, or war — it belongs to Jesus.

And here’s the beautiful part:

We are not waiting for that future…
we are invited to live it now.

So whether you’re feeling hopeful, sceptical, weary, or searching—Jesus is for you.

Let’s discover a peace that isn’t fragile.
A hope that isn’t wishful.
And a King who changes everything.

Sunday Services | 29th March 2026 | 9am & 11am

Our series, Money & Me, explores how faith can bring freedom, lift the stress and pressure that money can bring, and help you breathe again.

Join us for a warm, honest conversation inspired by how Jesus talked about money with care and freedom in mind. He knew that the worry of money can weigh on our hearts, so He encouraged us to trust God first:

“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other” (Matthew 6:24, NIV).

Money & Me is about helping you find that freedom in everyday life. As a church, we want to be His presence in every place, including the places where money concerns feel heavy or confusing. Over three weeks, we have explored how monetary status can move from being a source of control or comparison to becoming a helpful servant, one that supports our lives rather than defines them.

During this series, you’ll find a welcoming space where you belong, a humble approach that trusts that God is in control, and a hopeful message that points toward freedom. Our heart is simple: to help people love well, live lighter, and grow in faith in ways that genuinely serve their everyday lives.

If money worries have ever left you feeling tired, anxious, or unsure, you’re not alone.

This series isn’t about what the church wants from you.

It’s about what God wants for you.

This Easter, we invite you to journey with us.

Good Friday | April 3rd – 9am & 11am

Step into a reflective and meaningful experience as we walk through the days leading to the cross. Together, we’ll explore Palm Sunday and the Lordship of Jesus, share in the significance of the Last Supper with communion, and pause at the crucifixion—remembering the depth of His sacrifice. We’ll also look ahead to the resurrection and the power which is now at work within us through the Holy Spirit. This will be a contemplative gathering with worship and space to reflect on how these moments still shape our lives today.

NB: Kids Church Good Friday runs during both services with age-appropriate content. We expect a lot of kids, so please check in early to avoid your kids missing a spot.
