Christmas is only a few weeks away

Hi faith family!

With Christmas only a few weeks away and our onsite gatherings returning let us remember the reason God sent his Son: “The Way in a Manger” came to reconcile us with Him and each other!

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
2 Cor 5:17-21 NIV

If you’ve missed last weekend’s message, I highly recommend checking that out. Pastor Ken Rayment was at his best! This can be done via our website or social media posts on FacebookInstagram and YouTube.

By being His presence in every place we carry the Christmas message in us to a world that desperately needs to know Him.

While others may have forgotten the reason why we stop for a day in December, we know differently. Therefore, we are called to carry this message of reconciliation to every person we encounter, the sales clerk, the in-laws, the person who steals our car park at fountain gate, the person who cuts inline at the checkout, whoever it is, be Jesus in that space.

Reconnecting onsite

What an incredible experience, for those who were able to join the first Covid Onsite Service.

We had an amazing time of worship, fellowship and communion together. We can see how the onsite gatherings will very much play a crucial role in people’s spiritual growth. The attendance was way more than expected and we are so thankful for the wonderful feedback we received!

Remember to book in for the next onsite services via the links below:

Fuse Youth final meeting this week

Fuse will be having their end-of-year gathering Friday evening, so make sure you invite the teenagers within your influence sphere to this. We are so excited about what God is doing amongst our youth! See more details here.

Worship Pastor role

As we look forward towards 2021 we are expecting a great year of renewed impact. One of these areas of impact is our Worship Services. We are in the process of receiving applications for the Worship Pastor role. Please pray for us, that we would find the right individual to serve our church in this capacity. Should you know someone that would be a great candidate, please tap them on the shoulder and encourage them to apply!

Genny Camer…Smith…!?

Congratulations to Genevieve Cameron and Jordan Smith on the upcoming wedding on Sunday the 6th of December as well as the exciting announcement that Genny will be promoted from our Youth ministry intern to our Youth Pastor for 2021.
