Our heart is to facilitate intimate times of worship and encounter with Jesus – creating an environment where His presence is tangible during times of fellowship through all things artistic and technology driven .

If you are talented and skilled in the technical area of sound engineering, lighting, multimedia, photography/film – this is the right place!

What is involved?

Being a part of the Tech team would entail that you have some degree of technical ability in one more of the following areas:

  • Sound engineering/mixing
  • Lighting
  • Multimedia (Displaying lyrics, videos and slides)
  • Online streaming production (Mixing online sound, online video/visuals etc)
  • General Helps

You would also have to go through an informal interview process with the Worship Pastor and Team leader to help determine if and where you would be placed in the team.


By serving in the Tech team would also entail the following time commitments:

  • Being available to be rostered at least once a month
  • Being available for worship rehearsals the Wednesday evening before the Sunday you are rostered
  • Be available for an “all-in" creative team connection and fellowship times once every 6 weeks

How will you be supported:

There will be ongoing support from the Worship Pastor with regard to spiritual input, training, and further development.


There will also be an opportunity to:

  • Discuss any concerns or questions
  • Get feedback about your contribution/areas of growth
  • Consider suggestions

Anyone desiring to be involved at the Church must be known by an Elder, Ministry Leader or member of Staff for at least six (6) months and have been in regular attendance at the Church for at least six (6) months, as detailed in our Volunteer Recruitment Policy (click here).

The Church will consider involving anyone as a volunteer or leader.  Individuals must, however, be able to demonstrate a commitment to the vision, mission and values of the Church, and may only be placed if their gifts and talents as volunteers or leaders match the needs of the Church.  No person who has a conflict of interest with any aspect of the Church will be accepted as a volunteer or leader.

A Pastor, or their delegate, will contact you to arrange an interview.  It may take us up to two weeks to follow you up, in exceptional circumstances, it may take longer. If you haven’t heard back in two weeks, please contact the church office on 9702 1011.

While you are waiting for your interview, please complete the Policy requirements as listed on the 'Policies Tab'.

If you haven’t been baptised, feel free to discuss this with the Pastor at your interview.

Volunteers and leaders are expected to work within the policies and procedures of the Church, particularly the Code of Conduct, and adhere to its ethos.  As representatives of the Church, volunteers and leaders are responsible for presenting a positive image of the Church to the outside world.

As representatives of the Church, volunteers and leaders are expected to represent our values of being loving, humble, hopeful and serving.

Once you have completed all the requirements, a decision can be made on your involvement, and a Pastor or their delegate will contact you.
