Young Families | Camping trip or day out in Warburton

Calling all adventure-loving young families!

Update:

The information below tells you about camping with our young families at Warburton.  Sites and cabins are nearly booked, but it’s not too late to join the fun.

1. Bring a picnic lunch, bathers, towels, and hats, and join us on Saturday, February 24.  There’s a great free water park and a communal site where you can gather with us.  Just let one of the organisers know you are coming on the day so we can look out for you.

2. If you are keen to stay with us, you can try to get a site or cabin through the caravan park, as some may still be available, or there may be cancellations (see below for how to book).

3. You can also let Sue Nicholls know of your interest if you miss out and want to stay; last-minute cancellations due to illness, etc, are possible for sites or cabins.

Around 30 families have already signed up for a weekend of fun, endless laughter, and unforgettable memories! We invite you to join us from Friday, 23rd, to Sunday, 25th February 2024, for the Young Family Camping Weekend at Warburton, which will recharge your spirits and strengthen bonds with others.

Picture this: crisp, fresh air, surrounded by stunning nature. We’ll watch children play around the campsite, enjoy the amazing free water park, and paddle in Warburton River. The nearby town has plenty of cafes to enjoy and choose from, and Redwood Forest has fantastic walking and cycling trails where you can take a selfie or two.

When the day turns to night, we’ll have a campfire where we’ll swap stories, roast marshmallows, and enjoy fellowship together.

We are staying at the Warburton Holiday Park.  There are unpowered and powered sites, and you’ll need to supply your tent, caravan, or campervan and bedding as well as food (there are cafes nearby and a camp kitchen on site if you need it).

So gather your adventurous spirit, pack your sense of humour, and join us for an adventure-filled weekend. Leave the routine behind and embrace the great outdoors with us!

Let’s get you booked in!

1. Choose your site in the powered park section (sites C2-C16, F1-F19, and L1-L10) or unpowered park section (sites G2-G10).  There are some great double sites if you want to share with another family.  We can provide you with a list of the names and sites that are already booked, just contact one of the organisers below.
2. Call and book a campsite at 5966 2277 or visit the Warburton Holiday Park website to book, or use this link to book using the interactive map. The cost is $55 per night for two people for a powered site, $45 per night for unpowered, plus $10 per night for each additional person (over three years of age).
3. Advise the caravan park office or note in the comments section that you are with Berwick Church of Christ
