Living in His presence

' “If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. '

Within every Christ-follower, there resides a Divine Presence, a guide that walks with you through every twist and turn of life. It is the Holy Spirit, Christ among us who is ever-present with those who believe and follow Christ.

As John 14:15-17 assures us, the Spirit of Truth dwells within us when we align our lives with Christ's commandment found in John 13:34 (as opposed to myriads of religious laws). Embrace this beautiful truth, for it means you are never alone. The Holy Spirit is your constant companion, your comforter in times of sorrow, and your source of strength during trials.

During trials and temptations, when you find yourself grappling with uncertainty, turn to John 14:26-27 and take solace in the promise that the Holy Spirit is your divine teacher. He will illuminate your mind, bringing to remembrance the teachings of Christ and guiding you in understanding the profound wisdom of God's Word.

Through the presence of the Holy Spirit, you are gifted with peace—a peace that transcends the chaos of the world and fills your heart with serenity. Even amidst life's storms, you can find tranquillity knowing that the Spirit is in you, holding you close and gently whispering words of comfort and encouragement.

So, dear believers, embrace the profound reality of the Holy Spirit's presence in your life. Allow it to shape your thoughts, guide your actions, and inspire your words. Through the Spirit's divine guidance, you will be able to walk by the Spirit as well, being His presence in every place.

As you walk in the Holy Spirit, let His radiant light shine through you, illuminating the lives of others, and illuminating the world with hope and compassion. May you find strength, peace, and unwavering faith in this divine connection that will forever be a guiding force in your journey.

Clyde Church | Grand Reveal

Sunday, August 6th – Your chance to get a Sneak Peek before the Public Launch

Do you, or someone you know, live in the Clyde to Cranbourne area? Perhaps, open to finding a local faith community where you, families, and young people can belong, be inspired, and find lasting purpose.

The new Clyde Church is having its Grand Reveal – an interested person’s service at the Clyde Public Hall. Sunday 10am August 6th.

Over 150 years ago, a small group of people formed the beginning Berwick Church of Christ that has been seeing lives transformed through the power of the Gospel ever since. Imagine being part of the very beginning of another great work of God. Imagine the lives you will see transformed – Imagine the new connections you will make, the growth in your life and in others.

The Grand Reveal is a special service for existing Followers of Christ where you get a sneak peek, of what is coming. You will then know with confidence if this is what you are looking for and who from the local community you could invite on the exciting journey ahead.
