We are so well resourced…!

We are so well resourced…!

Have you ever been thrust into challenging circumstances? Can you recall the sense of uncertainty, of feeling overwhelmed, knowing it is “you against the world”. It is in moments like these that we try to muster all our resources to combat those intimidating realities. I believe as Christians we are at our best when we realise we need external help…people’s help…God’s help! That is the beauty of what I’ve seen happening in our Transformation groups – people overcoming challenges by the power of God and the love of fellow believers!

The reality is that life can be hard sometimes – but God is good – at all times!

It reminds me of the wonderful assurance that Christ is our prime resource:

'God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church. And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.'

Ephesians 1:22-23 NLT

This coming weekend Pastor Michael Rojales is speaking on facing tough circumstances in life and work. I can hardly think of a more qualified individual to do this. There will also be some great testimonies of people managing tough circumstances. Why don’t we use this opportunity to invite people who are doing it tough to join 'Online' or 'Onsite' this weekend. Be inspired to fight in the right way!

Coffee orders stop at 9:50am

We want to remind you that we have coffee available before the service, so avoid the rush to register at 9:55am at the door, and come a little early, relax in our foyer with a beautifully brewed coffee, and experience some fellowship, see you there.

Church Online starts at 9:50am

Our online streaming will start from 9:50am as from this coming Sunday. This will help you get set up at home in readiness. The introductory 10 minutes will be a combination of visionary and logistical communication. At 10 am the livestream will join the activities in the auditorium. We trust this will assist all our online viewers in having a better experience!

Vision Sunday event

On Sunday March 28th we want to invite you to stay behind after the service, enjoy free coffee, donuts and snacks, while spending time together with your church family. As a staff we so want to create time to reconnect with you or get to know you better, and we hope you can stay for as long as possible for food, fun and fellowship.

You can check out our newly renovated space in the back of our building called “The Shed” which we will be using to run a drop in centre for our community to come hang out, we are planning sessions for grade 5 and 6 primary and for youth, as well as this exciting new venture, we will be using this space for kids, youth and boys brigade ministries. Also the recently renovated LSCC will be open for you to check out if you’ve not had a chance to explore the new spaces we created there.
