Come along to our Men's Event to hear how a 54 year old survives a 10,000 foot fatal skydive fall!
Christopher Rantall was enjoying his first skydiving experience which was part of his bucket list and part of his daughter Raya’s birthday celebration on the 30th July 2021.
Chris was having the time of his life, enjoying every moment of the tandem skydive. Suddenly noticing he passed his daughter at high speed and realised it was because her parachute opened.
As Chris looked up, he saw his ropes getting tangled, and the canopy wasn’t open, it was just flapping in the wind. The emergency parachute was released and the same thing happened!
Chris and his instructor Arron came crashing to the ground, spiralling in an anti-clockwise direction and landing feet first. Sadly, Arron the instructor didn’t survive and passed away.
You are invited to hear Christopher talk about his miraculous survival, paying tribute to Arron who in the final seconds before hitting the ground, cradled a total stranger to protect his passenger.
But, there is so much more! Christopher will share about being born into an abusive and violent family. His schooling was a massive struggle, joining the army and being deployed to East Timor and his mental health battle.
