As we approach the start of the school year, we will focus this Sunday on the reason for our being as humans. “An ounce of purpose bring way more fulfillment than a pocket filled with pounds” – Winston Churchill once said. A clear perception on God’s purpose for your life is imperative for making decisions that eventually will make you!

This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Fuse Fest Family Fun Day | Sunday 29th January

Following our Vision Sunday service this week, Fuse Youth will be putting on ‘FUSE FEST’ for our whole church community!
There will be:

• inflatables
• carnival games
• a sausage sizzle
• live music
• face painting
• and more!

The whole family is invited… it will be a blast! This event will be raising money for our youth ministry and will go towards both resources needed within the ministry, along with providing more opportunities for teenagers to be sponsored to attend events such as Fuse Camp and State Youth Games!

Don't forget to bring along cash to purchase tickets, to avoid the long queue to the EFTPOS machine (as we only have one).

As part of raising money, we plan to host a silent auction on the day. If you own a small business or have something you may be able to contribute to our silent auction it would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Genny Smith (9702 1011) if you would like to discuss this further!

Young Families | and those who love them!

Would you like to support young families in our church and community, drawing them closer to God and each other?  Here are a few ideas:

1. Suggest that they get involved in one of our playgroups – you could pass on my number, introduce them to me or encourage them to register their interest online
2. Become involved in playgroup yourself!  We are looking to expand our team of child-free helpers and there are opportunities galore!
3. Register your interest to get involved with running a Parenting course, Lifekeys, Woman to Woman course or Marriage course – our playgroup families are asking for help in all of these areas
4. Encourage them to attend the Young Families Camping Weekend for a fabulous opportunity to deepen connections, register here.

The Jesus Apprenticeship | Sunday 5th February

Imagine if you were able to step back in time to where you could hear and see first-hand all that Jesus said and did – to follow in his footsteps day by day, in the actual order that it occurred; to experience what it was like as one of Jesus’ first disciples following the miracles, the teaching, and the drama – just as it happened.

Imagine if you could be equipped to not just follow Christ, but as one Jesus sends out to go and make disciples of others, to be a witness, to share the gospel, to heal the sick, to set people free, and to use your gifts to help others follow Christ.

The Jesus Apprenticeship beginning Feb 5th is being offered to those involved in the Clyde Church Plant. Couples Night Out – Ben Price | Sunday 12th February

If you are engaged or married, we invite you to be entertained by Christian comedian, Ben Price.

Ben is a national talent at an international level. Ben has performed all over the world bringing his 200+ voices. He was a Grand Finalist on Australia’s Got Talent in 2011 and he’s been on The Today Show several times, Good Morning Washington, Good Morning Texas, Huckabee, Kid’s WB and CT Style and many more.

Bens’s show will focus on engaged and married couples and will have you laughing and be a great night out.

Who would like to go camping at Warburton Holiday Park, 30 Woods Point Road Warburton. Located approximately one hour from Berwick?
