Apparently more than 90% of all produced songs are of this kind. Most poems written over the span of literature covers the topic. It is the main theme of almost every novel. There is a void in the soul of man without it. It causes us to have pets. Without love, humans are more susceptible to physical illness, mental illness, criminal behavior, academic underperformance, financial welfare, and antisocial behavior.

As followers of Christ, we know that being made in God’s image means we are also created with the desire to love and relate at the highest level! We were created in the likeness of God:

'Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” '

Genesis 1:26-28 NIV

There’s so much in here…but let’s focus on one phrase: “God blessed them…”! As we search for lasting love…we search for a relationship that is blessed by God. The ultimate example of that is the union between one man and one woman. This creates the ideal environment wherein we can raise effective kids in a defective world!

How can we live in such a way that we are conduits of that blessing that brings about fruitfulness and a healthy community through marriage? This weekend we will discover just that. Whether you are single, divorced, widowed, or married…your life is in some way impacted by marriage…and you in some way impact marriages. Let’s discover how the New Covenant brings a surprisingly refreshing perspective on the blessing that is marriage!

Partners Gathering | Highlight

Last Sunday partners gathered to hear important information on the state of our movement and celebrate key breakthroughs. After the gathering our partners enjoyed fellowship in the foyer which fostered healthy communication while the Cafe Team spoilt us with hot drinks.

Exploring Partnership | Sunday 2nd April

Men's Event | Sunday 2nd April

Christopher was having the time of his life, enjoying every moment of the tandem skydive. Suddenly noticing he passed his daughter at high speed and realised it was because her parachute opened and his didn't! Christopher and his instructor Arron came crashing to the ground, spiralling in an anti-clockwise direction and landing feet first. You are invited to hear Christopher talk about his miraculous survival, paying tribute to Arron who in the final seconds before hitting the ground, cradled a total stranger to protect his passenger.

Mental Health Support Gathering | Tuesday 4th April

These Gatherings are facilitated by Christians who wish to walk alongside people in their journey, loving and caring for them by providing a safe place to be heard and share life’s challenges together, offering friendship and hope. In addition, the Gatherings will provide tools to assist people in dealing with life, with specialist speakers addressing relevant topics.
